Die Hand informiert lediglich über das Tun der Hinterhand!

Liegt das Pferd auf der Hackamore tritt schlicht und ergreifend das jeweilige Hinterbein nicht in den Schwerpunkt. Löst man dies nun mit einer steiferen Hackamore mit mehr „Autorität", so bekämpft man zwar evtl. das Symptom, aber nicht die Ursache. Im Gegenteil beraubt man sich sogar der ehrlichen Information über das Tun der Hinterhand.

Stattdessen müssen Sitz und Schenkel die Hinterbeine des Pferdes dazu auffordern, unter den gemeinsamen Schwerpunkt zu treten, was sich dann wiederum als Leichtigkeit in die Hand überträgt. Wider der menschlichen Logik ist es außerdem so, dass fast alle Pferde, die nicht wie gewünscht auf das Bosal reagieren, in einer weicheren Variante plötzlich deutlich nachgiebiger sind - was im Übrigen kein Geheimnis, aber wohl in Vergessenheit geraten ist.

Die Hackamore verzeiht dem Pferd jeden Fehler, jedoch offenbart sie die des Reiter ganz unverhohlen, wodurch dieser nur besser werden kann - wenn er es denn zulässt.

The hackamore only shows what the hind legs of the horse are doing!

Is a horse hard on the hackamore, simply the hind leg is not stepping under the weight and pushing instead. With a stiffer hackamore the rider only kills the symptom but not the reason. Your even steal yourself the honest information about the action of the horses hind legs. Seat and leg are there to make the horse carrying the weight instead of pushing forward. The result is a horse which is light in your hand. Most horses who are not as responsive as you want them in a hackamore do a lot better in a softer, not a stiffer, one. This is not a secret, but seems to be lost.

The hackamore allows the horse every mistake and will show the rider everything he is doing wrong if he let it happens, what makes him better in the long run.
